A country-style garden with a contemporary twist
Mixing traditional materials with the ultra modern and combining wildflowers with ornamental planting beds to create myriad habitats and food sources for wildlife, this large garden for a retired couple includes different zones for multiple uses. Country-style fencing is coupled with decorative screens to create boundaries of interest whilst a dry stone wall houses a Corten steel water feature and a firepit is housed within a compacted gravel floor, surrounded by a bright orange wall. Abundant planting throughout helps create a feeling of seclusion, wherever one chooses to sit in the garden.
